RavensBrook Creations is a small business specializing in hand crafted items in St. Louis, Missouri. Our products range from fabric to wood creations and everything in between. We do custom orders so please contact us if you would like special colors.
Laurie, the owner of RavensBrook Creations, is a home schooling mother of four whose love of sewing began at an early age. Her first lessons were through a 4-H program at age ten. Though it was a short learning time, Laurie was hooked for life. She has spent many hours behind a sewing machine making clothing, blankets, costumes, curtains, pillows, and many varieties of home decor items. Her current favorite creations are the wood and vinyl signs that fill her work space.
Laurie has always loved the story in the Bible where God provided for all of Elijah’s needs. In 1 Kings 17:6, God sent ravens to bring the prophet food and placed him near a brook for fresh water during a severe drought. Laurie chose the name Ravens Brook Creations to always remind her to trust God in his provision for her business, just as he provided for Elijah.
